Craiceann - Pronounced "cracken" Irish word for "skin". This Pinot Gris was fermented on skins. Limited stock.

Who doesn't like a bit of skin contact? It is what makes the world go round. This beautifully presented wine has the colour of late sunset, almost lavender and rose combined, to mesmerise the drinker. It is a wine that screams “drink me!”. Gentle pear and crisp subtle confectionery bouquet . Wisps of rose petal play background support. The palate is round, generous and persistent. It offers wonderful length, leading itself to less drinking and more enjoyment. The gentle spice lifts and carries the wine offering vibrancy to an ethereal palate. The gentle residual sugar is the depth and balance to lively acid. To call this wine an “orange wine” would be to do it a disservice. It is so much more than that.

Drink with lightly fried antipasti, sunshine and great company
